| For what we paid for our room it was very good deal. Free internet was very important to us, and got connected right away. Just a very tiny bottle of shampoo and soap in bathroom, would have been nice if there was a lotion and a toothpaste/toothbrush cause I forgot to bring one. But overall it was Nice, and I will stay again. |

| Really nice and clean. Easy access, safe feeling, surrounded by other nice hotels. Only issue is east side, I think, of hotel was loud due to proximity to airport. I have stayed here before in other part of hotel with no issues. Nice breakfast in the morning. Will stay here again. |

| Loved this place. Funky 60's SoCal decor was a welcome break from the usual corporate hotel. The location is quiet and the staff was very friendly. Very convenient to John Wayne airport. |

| We had a 1st floor room on the side that shares the parking lot with Embassy Suites. It was fairly comfortable until the refridgerated truck showed up, and every half hour or so, the compressor and rig clicked on. After several hours of this, my inner ears were aching and my nerves were shot. After several phone calls to the front desk and a visit from my husband, we were moved to the 3rd floor for our final night and compensated for that major inconvenience. Our first floor room had pet stains all over the carpet. The fridge started to freeze our food. The bathroom fan rattled. The couch cushion was ripped. On the 3rd floor the carpet was free of stains, the fridge had a soda can rack, the bathroom fan was quiet. It is a quiet floor. Ask for the 3rd floor.
The housekeeping service is spotty. They will take your recycling that you are planning to return to the store, yet leave obvious trash (ie: small chip bag) for days. Never mopped the bathroom floor during our stay.
The breakfast could be good but for a few flaws. The scrambled eggs are never fully cooked. (I got sick from them) The breakfast attendant attacks you with "do you want a waffle?" immediately upon entering the room. She asks some guests (who she has seen for a few days) to see their key card while letting others pass. Really, who in their right mind would try to get into the inner courtyard of a hotel to eat their free breakfast? Most of the tables are outside in the courtyard. It is cold out there in the winter. They put on heat lamps.
Our complaints were resolved and they honored their guarantee policy. The front desk staff are friendly. |

| The Santa Ana La Quinta is an overall good choice - especially compared to the price of other local hotels. You get a clean, comfortable room, free internet access, in-room coffee, iron, and a better than average complimentary breakfast. The biggest downside is that the walls are thin so hopefully, your neighbor shuts off their TV before 3 AM, but, yeah, I'd stay there again... |

| The carpet was stained and the "couch", ottoman and chair were worn through. Made the place seem cheap. Other than that, and the echoing central courtyard, a great value for the price. Hot breakfast, friendly staff and a comfortable bed. But I can't get past the room and won't be back. |

| Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff. Close to 55 abd 405 (easy access). Well priced. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again. |

| Needed a hotel for overnight before early flight from John Wayne Orange County airport. This hotel worked for location and free shuttle. Good room, but pillows were not as advetised. All seemed the same and they were hard. Breakfast was good along with friendly staff. |
