Recent La Quinta Review: "I can't rave about our visit to the La Quinta enough. I even sent a letter to the hotel itself showering them with compliments. I never would have thought we could get so much for so little money. First off, the room we had was a king bed with a sleeper sofa. The room was big. The sofa was separated from the bed by a half length wall that was the closet (nice for privacy from the little one). Not only was there a mini-fridge, but there was a sink and a real counter dedicated to the "kitchenette" area. The decor was modern and pretty. It didn't feel outdated at all. The grounds were beautiful, and the courtyard in the center where the pool is was so pretty. The room had a central heating/air thermostat (much bettter than the dial on the unit itself). I loved that the bathroom had the sink and counter/mirror INSIDE the bathroom, rather than the vanity outside the bathroom. This meant I could get dressed while the others were sleeping and not disturb anyone. The breakfast, for being a free buffet was great! Much more than the usual dried up pastries. They even had a waffle maker to make fresh waffles. There was fruit, hard boiled eggs the staff kept replenishing, all kinds of juice and milk, and even yogurt tubs. The only thing is, watch for the sparrows on the patio. If you leave your plate with crumbs unattended, they might snatch a bite! lol. (Cute, I thought, I'm a bird lover). The breakfast area was kept so clean, even with a lot of people coming through. The hotel staff was great. Even though the printer at the guest computer was down, they turned their computer at the hotel front desk around, gave me the mouse and keyboard, and let me pull up on the internet what I needed to print and gave it to me. We stayed there on our trip to Disneyland, and I wish we had booked all of our nights there instead of just one. It's not far from Disney, maybe 15 min. tops. Overall, this was a great hotel, not just for the money, but period."
